I’m Speaking at the (Free) Canadian Online Homeschool Conference Again!

I am once again thrilled to be a part of the Canadian Online Homeschool Conference. I have thoroughly enjoyed presenting and listening to all the amazing speakers the last two years, and this year I am privileged to be speaking about play and development.

It is absolutely free to attend the conference from February 6-11, and then for a minimal cost, you can have access to all the workshops permanently.

I will be speaking on February 8, 2019.

The Science of Play and the Art of Relationship – Back to the Basics of the Learning Equation

As adults, we often focus on looking for the best curriculum or the most innovative learning technology, but is it possible that true learning comes from a very different place? Developmental science is giving us clues to what is truly needed to thrive in today’s rapidly changing world. Evidence is on the rise that play in the context of a safe and nurturing relationship is a child’s best bet for learning. Jennifer will look at the pivotal and sometimes surprising roles of relationship and play in the learning equation including how we as adults can help create the conditions for our children to grow and thrive.

DISCLOSURE: While I am not paid for my work with the conference, I do receive a small gratuity based on the affiliate links above, if you choose to use them. Thank-you for your support.
